Satya, Aetherflux Genius // Satya, Aetherflux Genius

The Satya, Aetherflux Genius art card was released in 2024 as part of the Modern Horizons 3 Art Series, a collection designed to highlight the high-fidelity fantasy illustrations featured on the main cards of the set. These cards are distributed as promotional inserts in collector boosters, intended to showcase the aesthetic vision of Magic: The Gathering by removing the game-mechanical text and frames, allowing the full-bleed illustration to serve as a standalone art print.

This specific illustration was created by artist Livia Prima, who rendered the character Satya with a focus on vibrant, energetic blues and a technical, artifact-centric aesthetic. The design aims to capture the character's role as a genius inventor within the lore, utilizing dynamic lighting and intricate mechanical details. It was well-received by the community for its clarity and the way it elevates the character's imposing, scholarly presence through a refined painterly style.
