Scavenger Folk

Scavenger Folk was released in 1995 as part of the Chronicles set for Magic: The Gathering. Chronicles served as a compilation set, designed by Wizards of the Coast to reprint popular or iconic cards from early expansions, specifically Legends, Antiquities, Arabian Nights, and The Dark. The set was created to address the significant secondary market demand for older cards that had become difficult for newer players to acquire, though its release sparked debate among collectors due to the dilution of rarity for many cards originally featured in limited-print runs.

The card features artwork by the illustrator Melissa Benson, whose distinctive style is synonymous with the early era of the game.
