Provenance

Where it came from

The Sever Soul card is part of the officially licensed Hachette Partworks collection, a series produced for the United Kingdom market to accompany the popular anime franchise. These cards were distributed as part of a recurring magazine series that provided lore, character biographies, and gameplay mechanics, targeting fans who sought a comprehensive physical archive of the series’ expansive roster.

The design of the card adheres to the established visual identity of the series, featuring iconic character artwork and stylistic graphical layouts consistent with the wider Hachette set. While the cards were primarily intended for young collectors and hobbyists to engage with the tactical elements of the franchise, they have since become modest archival pieces for enthusiasts documenting the history of the series' merchandising efforts.
