What it does
Whenever a creature you control dies, each opponent chooses a creature they control and exiles it.
At the beginning of your end step, if a player controls no creatures, sacrifice Sothera, then put a creature card exiled with it onto the battlefield under your control with two additional +1/+1 counters on it.

Where it came from
Sothera, the Supervoid (115s) originated as part of the limited-release promotional set for the Edge of Eternities expansion. These cards were distributed primarily through organized play events and select retail partnerships during the set's initial promotional window, designed to serve as both functional gameplay components and collectible vanity pieces for enthusiasts of the game's expansive cosmic lore.
The visual design of the card leans heavily into the minimalist, abstract aesthetic common to the Edge of Eternities art direction. Illustrators aimed to capture the theme of a 'supervoid' through muted color palettes and high-contrast negative space, a stylistic choice that was praised by the community for distinguishing the card from the more chaotic and brightly saturated designs found in the core base set.
