Terrain Generator

Terrain Generator was released as part of the Edge of Eternities expansion set for the Stellar Sights card game. Developed during the height of the game's popularity, the card was designed to introduce a dynamic environmental manipulation mechanic that allowed players to alter the state of the play area. It reflects the creative shift of the design team toward complex, board-state-altering effects that prioritized long-term tactical planning over immediate resource gains.

The visual identity for this card was crafted to evoke the abstract, high-concept science fiction aesthetic that defined the Stellar Sights series. The illustrator focused on sharp, geometric renderings to represent the process of landscape synthesis, aiming to convey the feeling of a machine imposing order onto cosmic chaos. Upon its release, the card received moderate acclaim from competitive players who valued its utility in control-focused deck builds, while collectors noted it for its distinct, minimalist art style.
