What it does
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, create a 1/1 blue Serpent creature token named Cobra Coil. When you do, if you control five or more Snakes and/or Serpents, choose one —
• Strike first — Target Snake or Serpent you control fights target creature an opponent controls.
• Strike hard — Put a +1/+1 counter on each Snake and Serpent you control.

Where it came from
The Cobra King, identified as card RZ06, is a notable piece from the Unknown Event promotional series. This card was released as part of a limited run intended to generate engagement at gaming conventions, serving as both a functional game component and a collectible curiosity for enthusiasts of the title's lore. Its design leans into a bold, predatory aesthetic, reflecting the high-fantasy themes central to the series' visual identity.
The illustration was crafted to evoke a sense of immediate tension, emphasizing the intricate scale and serpentine features of the subject. While the specific artist remains uncredited in public archives, the design aesthetic aligns with the period-typical style of the franchise, which favored sharp lines and aggressive color palettes. Upon release, it was well-received within the community for its rarity and its distinct visual departure from the standard card stock of the era.
