Where it came from
The Seriema, card 35p, was released as a promotional addition to the Edge of Eternities expansion set. These promotional cards were typically distributed through organized play events or specialized event kits designed to bolster interest in the game's competitive circuit, serving as a limited-edition incentive for dedicated players and collectors.
The card features artwork commissioned to highlight the unique aesthetics of the set's setting. The illustrator sought to capture the avian elegance of the seriema, blending naturalistic detail with the stylized fantasy elements inherent to the Edge of Eternities aesthetic. It was received by the player base as a niche but visually distinct piece of the game's expansive lore.
