Where it came from
The Traveling Postman, identified as card RZ04t, emerged from a niche promotional series often categorized under the 'Unknown Event' umbrella. While the specific origins of this promotional run remain somewhat elusive to general archives, items from this set typically reflect the late-20th-century aesthetic of independent tabletop gaming ephemera, designed to foster community engagement during localized tournament circuits or tabletop conventions.
The visual design of the card features a rustic, illustrative style characteristic of fantasy-adjacent art from its era. It was likely intended to serve as a collectible memento for participants rather than a functional piece of a standard card game deck, emphasizing evocative storytelling through its central character. Due to its limited distribution, it is highly sought after by completionist collectors who focus on obscure, event-exclusive paper goods.
