Urabrask the Hidden

Urabrask the Hidden is a card from the Multiverse Legends bonus sheet, a specialized subset featured within the March of the Machine expansion released by Wizards of the Coast in 2023. This version of the card features a distinct showcase treatment designed to evoke the aesthetic of New Phyrexia, the dystopian plane from which the character originates. The illustration highlights Urabrask’s unique status among the five Praetors; unlike his counterparts who pursued total assimilation, Urabrask is depicted with the industrial, furnace-bound imagery that defined his role as the leader of the Quiet Furnace.

The card was designed to offer players and collectors a stylized, high-contrast visual representation of a character who had previously appeared in the New Phyrexia set. The aesthetic direction for the Multiverse Legends subset was to provide a cohesive visual language for iconic legendary creatures from across Magic: The Gathering’s history. Upon release, this specific printing was well-received by the player base for its striking art style and its integration of the character's thematic ties to flame and machinery, cementing its place as a standout piece within the modern collecting era.
