What it does
Draw a card. If a graveyard has twenty or more cards in it, draw three cards instead.

Where it came from
Visions of Beyond was first released in the 2011 Magic: The Gathering set Magic 2012, designed to serve as a spiritual successor to the powerful card Ancestral Recall. Its inclusion in Ultimate Masters in 2018 marked a significant reprint for the card, which had become a staple in Modern format archetypes that rely on filling the graveyard quickly to maximize the card's draw potential.
The artwork for this version was created by Clint Cearley, who sought to capture the ethereal and overwhelming nature of the card's effect. The design emphasizes the vast, cosmic perspective suggested by the title, fitting into the aesthetic established by the Ultimate Masters set, which curated iconic and mechanically significant cards for a high-end draft experience and community collector interest.
