Voldaren Estate // Voldaren Estate

Voldaren Estate was released in 2021 as part of the Art Series for the Magic: The Gathering expansion set Innistrad: Crimson Vow. This card serves as a high-quality, oversized art print version of the land card from the main set, designed to highlight the intricate world-building of the vampire-themed expansion. These cards were distributed exclusively in collector boosters and served as a celebration of the visual storytelling that defines the modern era of the game.

The artwork for Voldaren Estate was commissioned by Wizards of the Coast to visually anchor the setting of the wedding of Olivia Voldaren, a key narrative event in the game's lore. The illustration focuses on the opulent, decaying grandeur of the vampire ancestral home, utilizing gothic architectural motifs and a muted, blood-toned color palette. It was received well by collectors for its artistic fidelity, providing a focused, borderless look at the environmental design that players experienced during gameplay.
