Provenance

Where it came from

Warren Warleader was released in 2024 as part of the promotional suite for the Bloomburrow set, a Magic: The Gathering expansion centered on a whimsical, high-fantasy world inhabited entirely by anthropomorphic animals. This specific card represents the character in an extended-art frame, a design choice intended to highlight the intricate, storybook-inspired illustrative style that defines the set's aesthetic.

The character design reflects the set's core theme of 'valiant' archetypes, portraying a rabbit commander in a woodland setting. Like other promos in this cycle, the card was produced to offer players and collectors a more visually immersive version of the standard-frame game piece, emphasizing the whimsical yet tactical nature of the Bloomburrow conflict.
