Woodland Cemetery

Woodland Cemetery was originally printed as a rare land card in the Dominaria set, released by Wizards of the Coast in 2018. The card is part of a cycle of 'check lands' that provide players with color flexibility based on the presence of basic land types, serving as a staple utility piece for multicolored decks in the Magic: The Gathering ecosystem. This specific version, numbered 248p, was issued as a foil promotional card, often distributed through organized play events or loyalty programs to reward active members of the community.

The artwork for this iteration was created by the artist Dimitar Marinski. His design emphasizes the moody, overgrown atmosphere characteristic of the Golgari-aligned lands on the plane of Dominaria, utilizing muted, earthy tones to evoke the feeling of a forest reclaimed by decay. Upon release, the promotional card was well-received by players and collectors alike, who valued the card's mechanical utility as well as the aesthetic appeal of the premium foil treatment on Marinski's detailed environmental illustration.
