Wurm

The Wurm token, assigned collector number 17 in the Commander Anthology Volume II set, was released by Wizards of the Coast in 2018. This specific set was designed as a curated compilation, bringing together four previously released Commander decks to provide players with an accessible way to acquire popular, out-of-print cards and their associated tokens. The token serves as a physical representation of the creature created by various cards within the included decks, such as those that produce 6/6 Wurm tokens.

The visual design of this token follows the established aesthetic language used for secondary game pieces in the Magic: The Gathering Commander product line. It features specialized art intended to be clear and distinct on the battlefield, ensuring players can easily identify the creature's type and stats. Like many tokens in these anthology sets, it was designed to provide a cohesive aesthetic experience for players utilizing the preconstructed decks, maintaining the high production standards expected of the game's supplementary materials.
