Your Fate Is Thrice Sealed

Your Fate Is Thrice Sealed was released in 2010 as part of the inaugural Archenemy set, a supplemental product for Magic: The Gathering designed to facilitate a one-versus-many multiplayer format. Within this game, players take on the role of a powerful villain who utilizes a deck of oversized Scheme cards to trigger devastating effects. This specific card represents the chaotic, high-stakes nature of the Archenemy experience, offering a thematic way to manipulate the game state through a randomized, multi-layered outcome.

The art and design for the Archenemy series were crafted to evoke a sense of grand, cinematic villainy. The illustration for this scheme leans into the gothic and arcane aesthetic typical of the Magic: The Gathering multiverse, emphasizing the impending doom inherent in the card's name. Upon its release, the set was well-received by players looking for a more narrative-driven, cooperative play experience, and the distinct, oversized format of the scheme cards became a unique identifier for the product line.
