Batman & Robin By Tomasi and Gleason Omnibus (2023 Edition)

Released in 2023, this omnibus compiles the acclaimed Batman and Robin run written by Peter J. Tomasi with primary interior art by Patrick Gleason. This collection follows the conclusion of Grant Morrison's tenure on the title, centering on the evolving relationship between Bruce Wayne and his son, Damian Wayne, as they navigate the complexities of the Robin mantle. The narrative is widely regarded for its emotional depth and focus on the paternal bond between the two characters, shifting the focus from traditional crime-fighting toward a character-driven study of grief and family dynamics.

The design of this omnibus reflects the visual consistency of the original New 52 monthly issues, highlighting Gleason's stylized, dynamic pencil work and Mick Gray's definitive inks. The creative team aimed to ground the fantastical elements of Gotham City in a grounded, father-son narrative, a creative choice that garnered significant critical praise during the series' initial serialization. This 2023 edition serves as a comprehensive archive of that collaboration, maintaining the stylistic integrity of the source material in a large-format hardcover presentation.
