Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure

Delicious Party♡Pretty Cure is the nineteenth installment in the long-running magical girl anime franchise created by Toei Animation under the collective pseudonym Izumi Todo. Premiering in 2022, the series centers on the theme of food and the appreciation of cooking, introducing a world where spirits known as Recipe-Bon are stolen by a villainous organization. The narrative follows the protagonists as they transform into Cures to protect the culinary traditions of their town, reflecting a thematic focus on gratitude and the emotional connection people share through meals.

The character designs were overseen by Kyoko Yufu, who aimed to blend the traditional aesthetic of the franchise with food-inspired motifs and vibrant, colorful costumes. The series was designed to evoke themes of warmth and community, mirroring the central role that dining plays in Japanese culture. While the show is aimed at a younger demographic, its visual style and narrative arcs were noted by critics for their focus on themes of empathy and shared experience, maintaining the legacy of high-quality animation production consistent with the broader Precure timeline.
