Heart no Kuni no Alice ~ Wonderful Wonderful World~ Theatrical Version (Anthology)

Heart no Kuni no Alice ~Wonderful Wonderful World~ Theatrical Version (Anthology) emerged from the expansive multimedia franchise created by the Japanese developer QuinRose. Based on the otome game series that reimagines Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland as a dark, gothic romance, this anthology serves as a companion to the 2011 animated film adaptation. It was produced to capitalize on the aesthetic popularity of the series, gathering short stories and illustrations from various artists to explore the idiosyncratic versions of characters like Blood Dupre and Elliot March within the film's narrative framework.

The design of the anthology reflects the signature visual style of the QuinRose universe, characterized by opulent Victorian-gothic sensibilities and intricate character designs. While the core creative direction remained under the oversight of the QuinRose team, the anthology format allowed for a diverse range of artistic interpretations of the source material. It was received primarily by the dedicated fan base as a collectible supplement to the cinematic release, valued for its supplementary lore and the variety of artistic styles applied to the well-known Wonderland cast.
