Sengoku Basara 3 - Tiger's Blood

Sengoku Basara 3: Tiger's Blood is a manga adaptation based on the popular Capcom video game series Sengoku Basara 3, released as part of the broader franchise expansion in the early 2010s. The series reimagines the Warring States period of Japanese history with stylized, high-octane action and supernatural elements. This volume focuses specifically on the narrative arcs involving the Takeda clan, placing Shingen Takeda and Yukimura Sanada at the center of the conflict.

The manga was illustrated by Itou Ryuu, who brought a sharp, energetic visual style consistent with the source material's intense combat aesthetic. Ryuu’s design approach emphasizes dynamic character movement and emotional intensity to translate the fast-paced gameplay of the original title into a static, sequential format. It was produced for fans of the video game who sought deeper exploration of the character dynamics and personal rivalries established in the game's campaign.
