Tokyo Revengers: E-Manga 23: Zeitreisen, ein Mordfall und die Suche nach dem Schuldigen – der Bestsellermanga zum Animehit!

Tokyo Revengers, written and illustrated by Ken Wakui, began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017. Volume 23 serves as a pivotal installment in the series, continuing the complex narrative of Takemichi Hanagaki as he traverses time to prevent the tragic fates of those close to him. Wakui drew inspiration from the subculture of Japanese delinquent gangs, blending these gritty themes with a supernatural time-travel mechanic that distinguishes the series within the shonen genre.

This specific digital release, published under the German-language imprint of the series, reflects the global expansion and commercial success of the franchise. Wakui’s distinct character designs and dynamic panel layouts were highly praised for their kinetic energy, contributing to the work receiving the Kodansha Manga Award in 2020. The volume was received as a significant escalation in the series' stakes, cementing its position as a contemporary classic of the delinquent manga subgenre.
