Una Famiglia di Patrioti Emiliani: i Giglioli di Brescello. Con appendice di ... lettere, etc. [With plates, including portraits.].

Published in the late 19th century, this volume serves as a genealogical and biographical account of the Giglioli family from Brescello, Italy. Written by Costanza Giglioli, later Costanza Stocker, the work functions as both a domestic history and a tribute to the family's involvement in the patriotic movements of the Risorgimento. It was produced to document the lineage and political contributions of the family, providing a personalized view of local history during a transformative period of Italian nation-building.

The text is notable for its inclusion of plates and portraits, which were intended to ground the narrative in the physical reality of the family's heritage. As a historical document, it reflects the common late-Victorian and turn-of-the-century practice of private families commissioning commemorative texts to preserve their social status and political legacy. The book is recognized by academic repositories, such as the British Library, as a resource for regional Italian history and nineteenth-century biographical literature.
