Where it came from
This event card was released as part of the Awakening of the New Era set for the One Piece Card Game, which debuted in late 2023. The card features a pivotal moment from the Marineford Arc, capturing the complex, morally ambiguous worldview of the character Donquixote Doflamingo during the height of the Summit War.
The design emphasizes the card game's focus on thematic immersion, utilizing iconic manga panels to illustrate Doflamingo’s cynical philosophy. Within the meta-game, this card is recognized for its strategic utility in Blue-colored decks, allowing players to manipulate the battlefield in alignment with Doflamingo’s manipulative nature.
