The Charlotte Katakuri card, cataloged as OP11-067 within the -A FIST OF DIVINE SPEED- set, represents a pivotal antagonist from the Whole Cake Island arc of the One Piece series. Designed to reflect the character's formidable presence and his mastery of Observation Haki, the card features artwork that emphasizes his intimidating stature and signature trident, Mogura. This set was produced by Bandai to expand the strategic depth of the One Piece Card Game, focusing on high-impact character cards that utilize the game's evolving mechanics for purple-aligned deck archetypes.

The aesthetic direction for this card aims to capture the duality of Katakuri as both a merciless commander of the Big Mom Pirates and a warrior who adheres to a strict code of honor. Illustrators for this set typically work within the established visual language of the manga while incorporating dynamic lighting and textures to distinguish the character's unique design elements, such as his scarf and jagged teeth. Upon its release, the card was received as a significant addition to the meta-game, valued by players for its ability to exert pressure on the board and maintain thematic consistency with the character's narrative role.
