Daifugo

The Daifugo card, numbered OP02-078, was released as part of the Paramount War expansion for the One Piece Card Game, which debuted in late 2022. This set was designed to capture the intensity of the Marineford Arc, a pivotal storyline in the series where major factions clash to decide the fate of high-profile pirates. Daifugo, a member of the Beast Pirates introduced during the Wano Country arc, is featured here as a character card, serving as a tactical representation of his role under Kaido’s command.

The illustration maintains the visual consistency established by the game’s creative team, emphasizing the rugged and menacing aesthetic of the Beast Pirates. The card was developed to integrate into the game's evolving mechanics, offering players specific abilities that reflect the character's loyalty and combat style. Upon its release, the Paramount War set was well-received by the trading card community for expanding the depth of deck-building strategies, allowing collectors and players to further explore the vast roster of characters within the One Piece universe.
