DON!! Card (Manga)

The DON!! card is a foundational element of the One Piece Card Game, first appearing in the Paramount War expansion set released in 2022. Serving as the essential resource currency for the game, these cards are required to play character and event cards, effectively acting as the economy of each match. While standard versions were mass-produced, the manga-style illustrations were introduced as highly elusive chase cards that reimagined the iconic art of Eiichiro Oda in a high-contrast, black-and-white ink aesthetic.

The design of these manga-style DON!! cards was crafted to evoke the raw intensity of the original manga panels, stripped of traditional coloring to highlight the bold line work and dynamic action sequences characteristic of Oda’s draftsmanship. Within the collecting community, these cards are prized for their aesthetic departure from standard trading card tropes, reflecting the artistic heritage of the source material. Their reception has been overwhelmingly positive, leading to their status as some of the most sought-after rarities in the current trading card landscape.
