El Thor

The El Thor event card was released as part of the promotional materials for the Adventure on Kami's Island event set, a collection tied to the expansion of the One Piece Card Game based on the Skypiea arc. These cards were distributed during organized play events, designed to provide players with specific tactical tools that reflect the high-stakes narrative of the source material. By integrating key abilities from the anime into the game mechanics, the designers aimed to immerse players in the strategic themes of the series while rewarding those who participated in local competitive play.

The artwork for this card captures the immense power associated with the character Enel, utilizing the distinct visual style of the card game's illustrative team to emphasize the impact of the attack. As part of a limited release event, the card was received positively by the player base for its utility in gameplay and its aesthetic fidelity to the original source. The release strategy focused on building community engagement through exclusive tournament rewards, cementing its place as a recognizable piece within the broader card game ecosystem.
