Eustass"Captain"Kid

The Eustass Kid card from the OP-07 set, originally released as part of the 500 Years in the Future expansion of the One Piece Card Game, draws directly from the Egghead Arc of the long-running manga series. This character card represents a pivotal figure in the Grand Line, designed to reflect his aggressive, scrap-metal-manipulating fighting style. The art captures his iconic red hair and mechanical arm, maintaining the high-contrast, kinetic aesthetic that defines the game's broader art direction.

The card was produced by Bandai to integrate the shifting alliances and intense combat encounters of the post-Wano storyline into the competitive trading card game format. It was met with interest from players focused on the purple deck archetype, which emphasizes high-cost power plays and resource management. Like much of the OP-07 release, its design is intended to reward players who utilize Kid's aggressive tactical synergy, making it a functional piece of the meta-game's ongoing evolution.
