Provenance

Where it came from

The Foxy leader card from the Anime 25th Collection [EB-02] was released in 2024 to celebrate the long-running history of the One Piece trading card game. It features the character Foxy the Silver Fox, a central antagonist during the Long Ring Long Land arc, depicted in a distinct art style that captures his eccentric and conniving personality from the series.

The design draws upon the character's signature theatrical aesthetic, emphasizing his role as the captain of the Foxy Pirates. As part of the Extra Booster set, this card was intended to provide players with unique leader mechanics, reflecting the character's thematic reliance on trickery and 'Davy Back Fight' challenges, and it was received by collectors as a nostalgic addition that honors one of the series' more colorful and comedic arcs.
