Long-Jaw Neptunian

The Long-Jaw Neptunian was introduced as a character card in the OP-11 expansion set, titled A Fist of Divine Speed. This set was designed to expand the tactical depth of the One Piece Card Game, introducing new synergies and thematic archetypes centered around the fish-men and aquatic denizens of the Grand Line. The card reflects the broader art direction of the game, which utilizes dynamic, high-contrast illustrations meant to capture the chaotic energy of combat within the series' world.

The illustration focuses on the creature's distinct, elongated features, leaning into the grotesque yet functional aesthetic characteristic of the series' non-human species. It was received by players as a specialized tool for deck construction, valued primarily for its specific mechanical utility in aquatic-themed decks rather than as a centerpiece of the meta. The card exemplifies the game's commitment to representing even minor background creatures with unique visual and gameplay identities.
