Mr.1 (Daz.Bonez) (Alternate Art)

The Mr. 1 (Daz Bonez) card, numbered OP14-090 from The Azure Sea's Seven set, is a stylized depiction of the high-ranking Baroque Works assassin from the One Piece universe. Designed to capture his stoic, blade-wielding persona, the alternate art iteration emphasizes his Devil Fruit ability, the Dice-Dice Fruit, which allows him to transform his body parts into sharp steel blades. This card reflects the series' long-standing tradition of rewarding collectors with unique, thematic artistic interpretations of antagonist characters who played pivotal roles in major story arcs like Alabasta.

The artistic direction for the set focuses on high-contrast, kinetic illustrations that define the current era of the One Piece Card Game. Designers have aimed to elevate the presence of 'character' cards by utilizing metallic foil treatments and dynamic framing that highlights the combat prowess of the subject. Within the competitive community, this specific card is recognized for its thematic consistency and its place within the broader meta of the Azure Sea's Seven collection, serving as a functional piece for players and a distinct aesthetic highlight for those documenting the series' expansive character roster.
