Mr.1(Daz.Bonez)

The Mr. 1 (Daz Bonez) character card, numbered OP16-054, is part of the 'The Time of Battle' expansion set for the One Piece Card Game. This set focuses on pivotal moments from the series, with this specific iteration highlighting the formidable antagonist from the Alabasta arc. The card design utilizes dynamic, action-oriented character art consistent with the card game's aesthetic, which prioritizes bold lines and dramatic shading to reflect the high-stakes combat prevalent in Eiichiro Oda’s source material.

The card was designed to integrate into the game's mechanics as a Black-colored character, reflecting Daz Bonez's 'Dice-Dice Fruit' abilities which allow him to turn his body into blades. As part of the wider release cycle for the trading card game, it was created to provide players with specific defensive or removal utility. Upon its release, it was received primarily as a functional piece for players building decks around the 'Baroque Works' or Black-alignment archetypes, appreciated by collectors for capturing a classic villain in the game's evolving visual language.
