Shiki (Store Championship Participation Pack Vol. 2)

The Shiki character card, numbered ST05-008, was released as part of the One Piece Card Game's Promotion Cards series. Specifically, it was distributed through Store Championship Participation Packs in the second volume of the program. These cards were created to reward players for participating in local competitive events, serving as a staple of the organized play scene that emerged following the game's official launch in 2022. The card features Shiki the Golden Lion, a prominent antagonist from the franchise's film history, depicted in his iconic golden attire.

The design of this promotional variant utilizes art consistent with the ST05 Starter Deck, focusing on the character's intimidating presence. By issuing these cards as participation incentives, the publishers aimed to cultivate a dedicated community of players while providing collectors with unique, tournament-exclusive versions of cards. The series has generally been well-received by fans for its high-quality foil treatments and the inclusion of significant characters from the broader One Piece lore, helping to establish the game's identity in the highly competitive trading card market.
