Tashigi

The Tashigi card, numbered OP06-050, was released in the WINGS OF THE CAPTAIN expansion set for the One Piece Card Game in early 2024. As a character card featuring the prominent marine officer from Eiichiro Oda's long-running series, it fits into the game's broader mechanical framework, which emphasizes strategic interplay between character abilities and leader effects. The card design leans into the tactical nature of the game, prioritizing clean, recognizable artwork that captures the character's signature look and established role within the narrative.

The art featured on this card is consistent with the established visual identity of the One Piece Card Game, which draws directly from the manga and anime aesthetics to ensure continuity for fans of the source material. Like many character cards in the OP06 set, this version of Tashigi was designed to fill a specific niche within the blue-colored deck archetypes. The card was received as a standard utility piece, appreciated by players for its contribution to consistent deck building and its faithful representation of the character's sword-wielding persona.
