Tony Tony.Chopper

Tony Tony Chopper (OP07-103) was released as part of the 500 Years in the Future expansion for the One Piece Card Game, which debuted in 2024. This set drew its thematic inspiration from the Egghead Arc of the manga, focusing on the futuristic aesthetic and advanced technology associated with the character Dr. Vegapunk. The card serves as a mechanical representation of Chopper’s utility within the game, fitting into the meta-game strategies surrounding the Straw Hat crew.

The character illustration captures Chopper in his signature style, consistent with the long-running design established by series creator Eiichiro Oda. The design process for these sets typically involves collaboration between the card game developers and the production team at Toei Animation to ensure that the artwork reflects current character iterations while maintaining the visual consistency of the franchise. Upon release, the card was received primarily as a functional staple for players building decks centered around the Straw Hat archetype.
