Tony Tony.Chopper

Tony Tony Chopper (OP01-015) was released in 2022 as part of Romance Dawn, the inaugural expansion set for the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed to introduce the foundational mechanics of the game while celebrating the long-running manga series created by Eiichiro Oda, focusing on the early adventures of the Straw Hat crew. The card utilizes the game's standardized card frame, emphasizing clean, accessible typography and vibrant character art that captures Chopper’s endearing personality.

The card features an illustration of the crew's doctor in his base form, rendered in a style consistent with the modern aesthetic of the Toei Animation series. It was received positively by players upon release for its utility as a low-cost character card with a defensive blocker ability, making it a staple in various deck builds. The design intent was to provide a functional and thematic entry point for players, bridging the gap between card game enthusiasts and fans of the source material.
