Provenance

Where it came from

The Upper Yard card, designated OP05-117, was first introduced in the Awakening of the New Era set before being reprinted in the 2024 commemorative set, ONE PIECE CARD THE BEST. It represents the central setting of the Skypiea arc, where the titular location serves as Enel’s base of operations. The design utilizes evocative scene-setting artwork typical of the One Piece Card Game’s stage cards, intended to mechanically represent the geographical advantage of the location within the game's strategic environment.

The card was designed to support Skypiea-themed decks by providing essential resource manipulation, allowing players to search their deck for specific characters. Within the context of the card game, which launched in 2022 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Eiichiro Oda's manga, this stage card is valued by players for its consistency and thematic adherence to the source material's lore. Its inclusion in PRB-01 reflects the game’s effort to consolidate popular and mechanically relevant cards for both new and established collectors.
