Uta

The Uta card, designated OP02-120, originates from the second expansion set of the One Piece Card Game, titled Paramount War, which was released in late 2022. The card was designed to tie into the global theatrical release of One Piece Film: Red, which focused heavily on the character Uta as a central pop idol figure. The game itself, launched by Bandai, sought to capture the series' massive cultural reach by blending tactical depth with high-quality illustrations that mirror the signature aesthetics of Eiichiro Oda’s long-running manga series.

The artistic direction for the card aims to capture Uta's musical and melancholic persona, utilizing vibrant colors and dramatic poses consistent with the film's animation style. As a character card within the game, it serves as a key collectible for both fans of the cinematic release and competitive players. The card’s design received positive reception for its thematic accuracy, successfully bridging the gap between the film's promotional cycle and the expanding collectible card game market.
