This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness, Resistance, Poké-Powers, Poké-Bodies, or any other effects on the Defending Pokémon.

Where it came from
Released in January 2003 as part of the Aquapolis expansion, this card represents the ninth main Pokémon Trading Card Game set produced by Wizards of the Coast. Developed during a transitional period for the game, Aquapolis is notable for introducing the E-Reader functionality, allowing players to scan cards into a Nintendo Game Boy Advance to access mini-games and additional data, a design choice that blended traditional physical card collecting with contemporary digital integration.
The card features artwork by Keiko Fukuyama, an illustrator known for her distinct, often soft or painterly aesthetic within the early TCG years. As an Electric-type Holo Rare, this specific design highlights the complex holographic patterns favored by the developers at the time, aiming to distinguish high-rarity cards through intricate light-refraction techniques. Upon release, the set was praised for its technical innovation, though the short lifespan of E-Reader support has since made these cards primary targets for collectors interested in the unique history of Nintendo’s early connectivity experiments.
