What it does
If your opponent has 5 or more Prizes, shuffle your hand into your deck and then draw 6 cards. If your opponent has exactly 2 Prizes, choose 1 of your opponent's Evolved Pokémon. Your opponent puts the top card on that Evolved Pokémon on the bottom of his or her deck. (This counts as devolving that Pokémon.)
Attach this card to 1 of your Pokémon in play. That Pokémon may use this card's attack instead of its own. At the end of your turn, discard Mystery Plate γ.

Where it came from
The Mystery Plate γ was released in 2003 as part of the Skyridge expansion, the final set produced by Wizards of the Coast for the Pokémon Trading Card Game before the license returned to The Pokémon Company. As an uncommon Trainer card, it represents a unique era of design where the game experimented with unconventional mechanics. The card features an abstract, geometric aesthetic that departs significantly from the typical creature-centric artwork of the period, reflecting the set's focus on integrating the e-Reader technology.
Designed to be compatible with the Nintendo Game Boy Advance e-Reader peripheral, the Mystery Plate series allowed players to scan the cards to unlock minigames or localized data. The design aesthetic was influenced by the desire to bridge the gap between physical card play and digital interaction. While Skyridge is now highly regarded for its artistic diversity and status as a transition piece in TCG history, the Mystery Plate cards were initially viewed as niche curiosities by competitive players due to their specialized, non-combat function.
