What it does
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may put Pikachu from your hand onto Pichu (this counts as evolving Pichu) and remove all damage counters from Pichu.
Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.
The electric pouches on its cheeks are still small. They cannot store much electricity yet.

Where it came from
The Pichu card from the Mysterious Treasures set was released in 2007 as part of the Pokémon Trading Card Game's Diamond & Pearl series. This set was notable for introducing mechanics centered around the Sinnoh region, following the release of the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl video games on the Nintendo DS. As a common card, it served as an accessible entry point for players and collectors looking to expand their collections with early-generation evolutions featured in the then-current generation of games.
The design of this card adheres to the aesthetic standards established by The Pokémon Company and Creatures Inc. during the mid-2000s. The artwork features the electric-type Pokémon Pichu, often rendered by recurring illustrators in the franchise who specialize in soft, approachable character designs. While the card is a standard common rarity, its inclusion in the set reflects the series' tradition of periodically reissuing popular mascot characters to maintain continuity and engagement with younger players.
