The artwork for this Holo Rare Zapdos was created by artist Mitsuhiro Arita, a staple of the early Pokémon TCG whose distinctive painterly style helped define the look of the base sets. Arita’s illustration captures the legendary bird in a dynamic, high-energy stance, leaning into the jagged, crystalline aesthetic of the early 2000s designs.
