Where it came from
Released in 2017 as a split seven-inch single, Back To Bay Six / Eve serves as a collaborative effort between the Leeds-based groups Team Picture and Laminate Pet Animal. This release was issued by Come Play With Me, a social enterprise label dedicated to supporting the independent music scene in Leeds by providing a platform for local artists to distribute their recordings.
The split single reflects the distinctive, guitar-driven indie and post-punk sound prevalent in the West Yorkshire underground music scene during the late 2010s. Design-wise, the release emphasizes the communal nature of the label's mission, presenting two distinct artistic visions on a single physical format to introduce listeners to both bands simultaneously.
