Where it came from
El Comienzo was released by Vicio Fantasia Records as the label's debut catalog number, VF001. It represents a collaborative effort between members of the Vicio Crew, featuring the artistic and musical contributions of Loïc and Signo. The record emerged from a specific underground electronic music scene, prioritizing a raw, experimental approach to sound design that aimed to establish the aesthetic identity of the nascent label.
The conceptual foundation of the release was rooted in the collective's desire to capture a specific mood of rhythmic urgency. The visual and sonic design reflects this intent, opting for a stripped-back presentation that favors industrial textures and minimalist arrangements. Upon its release, the record was received within niche circles as a statement of intent for the label, grounding its reputation in uncompromising, independent production standards.
