En Hij Stoft.. En Hij Veegt... En Hij Zuigt!!! (Het Hondje Van Mama !!) / Kom 'ns Hier Lekker Dier !!

Released in 1986 on the Belgian label Limbo Records, this novelty single represents the peculiar intersection of Flemish comedy and the 1980s synth-pop aesthetic. Produced during an era when lighthearted, often slightly absurd comedic tracks frequently found an audience on local radio and in nightlife venues, the record capitalizes on a spoken-word performance centered around humorous domestic scenarios. It serves as a time capsule for a specific style of regional entertainment that prioritized eccentricity and wordplay over traditional musical structures.

The record reflects the DIY sensibility of independent labels like Limbo, which often provided a platform for local cabaret acts and comedic personalities like Jan Petat. By blending synthesized backing tracks with narrative-driven vocals, the production team sought to create an engaging, if unconventional, radio-friendly oddity. Upon its release, it found niche popularity within the Belgian cabaret scene, though it remained largely confined to a local context, representative of the playful, often irreverent spirit that defined the Belgian independent music scene of the mid-eighties.
