Et Je Te rêve

Et Je Te rêve was released in 1982 by the French label Disc'Az, a company historically significant for distributing both domestic chanson and international pop throughout the mid-to-late twentieth century. The track reflects the synth-pop and light chanson aesthetic prevalent in the French music industry at the dawn of the 1980s, a period marked by experimentation with burgeoning electronic production techniques alongside traditional lyrical structures.

Régis Reuilhac, acting as both artist and songwriter, navigated the competitive landscape of independent French pop during this era. The production reflects a desire to capture a romantic, atmospheric tone characteristic of regional airplay favorites of the time. While the record did not achieve widespread international chart success, it remains a documented entry in the catalog of the Disc'Az roster, serving as a representative example of the niche pop soundscapes produced in France during the early 1980s.
