Il Vero Amore / Sai Perchè ?

Released under the Centro Biblico label, the 7-inch single featuring 'Il Vero Amore' and 'Sai Perchè?' stands as a distinct entry in the discography of Filippo Lamia. Centro Biblico functioned primarily as a conduit for religious and inspirational music in Italy during the mid-to-late twentieth century, focusing on disseminating messages of faith through localized musical productions. This release follows the label's established practice of providing modest, accessible recordings for community and church use.

The production reflects the aesthetic of Italian independent religious recordings of the era, where sparse arrangements were typically employed to center the lyrical message. Filippo Lamia’s contributions within this niche label context were aimed at a specific audience interested in devotional music, characterized by a sincere, unadorned vocal delivery. While these releases often bypassed mainstream distribution channels, they remain valued by collectors of Italian obscurities for their historical snapshot of private-press religious music culture.
