Where it came from
In Search Of The Wow Wow Wibble Woggle Wazzie Woodle Woo! was released in 1983 on Tim Noah's independent label, Noazart Records. Created by singer-songwriter and children’s entertainer Tim Noah, the album emerged during a period of burgeoning interest in high-quality independent children’s music. Noah designed the project to engage young listeners through imaginative storytelling and rhythmic, theatrical arrangements that prioritized curiosity and playfulness over didactic themes.
The album reflects Noah’s background as a multidisciplinary artist who spent significant time developing work for children, including roles with the Seattle Children’s Theatre. The design and narrative direction were centered on the fantastical quest for a whimsical, illusive creature, a concept meant to spark the listener’s own creative exploration. While it remained a niche release within the independent catalog, it is recognized for its earnest production value and remains a cult item among collectors of 1980s children’s folk and novelty records.
