Quatre Symphonies de Jeunesse K.16 ~ K.22 ~ K.43 ~ K.95

Released in 1969 by La Voz De Su Amo, this recording features the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra under the baton of Louis Auriacombe. The album compiles four of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's early symphonies, specifically numbers K.16, K.22, K.43, and K.95. These compositions date from the composer's childhood and adolescence, reflecting the formative influences of Italian opera overtures and the Galant style that defined his early European travels.

The recording serves as a historical document of the Auriacombe era with the Toulouse Chamber Orchestra, a period noted for its focus on refined, stylistic interpretations of the classical repertoire. La Voz De Su Amo, the Spanish affiliate of the EMI group, issued this disc to showcase these less frequently performed symphonies. The aesthetic of the sleeve design aligns with the standard 1960s classical catalog presentation, favoring scholarly documentation and clear typography to appeal to the academic and audiophile markets of the time.
