Shorty Nice-N-Naughty / Money Makes The World...

Released on the independent Lo Key Records label, this 12-inch single represents a specific slice of the regional hip-hop scene during a period when small, artist-run imprints were the primary vehicle for underground rap distribution. The record features the tracks Shorty Nice-N-Naughty and Money Makes The World..., serving as a testament to the DIY production aesthetic prevalent in independent music circles where artists often handled their own distribution and promotion to reach local audiences.

The creative direction for this release was spearheaded by K/Reem and Luca Bras, who utilized the limited resources of the underground circuit to establish a distinct sound. The project was designed to capture a gritty, unfiltered perspective characteristic of the era's independent releases. While it did not receive widespread mainstream radio play, the record remains a piece of documentation for the hyper-localized subcultures that thrived outside the major label systems of the time.
