Shtate Bylbylat-Sedam Slavuja / O Kur Jam Konun-o - Kad Sam Imala 12 Godina

Released in 1958 under the Yugoslav label Jugoton, this 7-inch record captures the rich musical heritage of the Balkan region. It showcases Vokalni Trio Zajazi backed by the renowned Ansambl Teodosievski, an ensemble led by the acclaimed accordionist Kočo Petrovski and later associated with the legendary Esma Redžepova. These tracks represent a period where traditional folk music was being preserved and disseminated through the modernization of the Yugoslav recording industry.

The record features a blend of regional vocal styles, characteristic of the cultural synthesis favored by Jugoton, which served as the primary bridge between traditional village music and mainstream broadcast media in Socialist Yugoslavia. The arrangement highlights the signature virtuosic accordion work of the Teodosievski ensemble, which was designed to translate intricate folk melodies for a wider urban audience. While specific archival details regarding the individual illustrators of the sleeve are sparse, the design reflects the functional and minimalist aesthetic typical of Jugoton's early singles catalog, which focused on clear typography and direct identification of the performers.
